His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Vision and Robotics (VIBOT) at Heriot-Watt University, Universitat De Girona (Spain), and Université de Bourgogne (France) from 2008 to 2010. Andrew’s career journey led him to the role of Chief Executive Officer at PicSea Ltd. Since 2016, he has been driving innovation in underwater drones (AUVs) with a mission to map the world’s oceans through low-cost mass-manufactured AUVs. Additionally, his achievements include securing funding, building a talented team, and launching PicSea’s services.

Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, Andrew served as a Technical Officer at The University of Sydney from 2011 to 2016. Here, he played a crucial role in AUV design, data management, logistics, and field deployments, contributing significantly to environmental research.
